Our school took 1st place in the 2018 Regional KidWind Challenge and will advance to the National Event held in May in Chicago. We are so proud of our forward thinking Spinner team as they play an important role in the research and development of a future where Wind Energy combined with other alternative energies can significantly decrease our world's dependence on our natural resources.

Congratulations to Spanish-Language Parent Liaison Kirsten Buchner who was recognized at the annual FCPS Honors event as the 2017 Region 5 Outstanding School-based Hourly Employee. Congratulations as well to ESOL Teacher Greer Mancuso, Assistant Building Supervisor Yanelkis Ortega, and Director of Student Services Kathryn Teague. All four Eagles were recognized at the this year's FCPS Honors Ceremony.
