IMAGINE
Registration is still open for the Imagine Summer Learning Program! This FREE and FUN summer experience provides opportunities for students to enhance their math and literacy skills through developing the FCPS Portrait of a Graduate attributes as an effective communicator, collaborator, critical and creative thinker, goal-directed, resilient and global & ethical citizen. Imagine provides grade 7-8 students the opportunity to strengthen core Mathematics and English Language Arts skills by focusing on essential standards that will prepare students for success at the start of next school year.
If you would like your student to attend, please complete this commitment form as soon as possible. Bus transportation will be provided. Register early to reserve a spot!
Bus transportation will be provided.

Young Scholars
Registration is still open for the YOUNG SCHOLARS summer learning program! This is a FREE, 3-week summer enrichment program. If you would like your student to attend, please complete this commitment form as soon as possible. You will be contacted if your student is placed on the waitlist. Bus transportation will be provided. Space is very limited. Register early to reserve a spot!

Young Scholars (YS) provides academic enrichment to students with high academic abilities from groups historically underserved in advanced academics. Students will engage in enrichment curriculum experiences designed to develop their critical and creative thinking and problem solving skills. Students will work together to learn about a topic and create a product to present to an audience at the end. During the program, students will Think and problem solve, express creativity and innovation, collaborate with others, build talents and strengths, meet other Young Scholars and HAVE FUN!

KJMS THINKABIT CAMP - enrollment is closed
- June 20-23, 2023 – 9AM-1PM at Katherine Johnson Middle School
- All supplies are provided, they just need to bring a lunch
- Students must have their own transportation to and from camp
RISE
Registration is available for the 2023 KJMS RISE program. This 1 day experience will ensure your student starts off middle school at KJMS on the right foot!
- 1 Day Orientation for students new to KJMS
- Choose from 3 dates – July 31, August 1, 2 from 9am-1pm
- Connect with KJMS Students

- Navigate the Building
- Early access to middle school technology and laptop
- $25 Registration Fee
- Lunch provided

- Signup for 1 Student Slot on the KJMS RISE Signup Genius

CTE Summer Academy
This weekly summer program gives students the opportunity to dive deeper into CTE program areas, encourages career exploration, and helps develop useful skills.

Free World Languages Summer Camp
July 24 - July 27 or July 31 - August 2
9:00 - 2:00 at Fairfax HS
The City of Fairfax School Board is excited to sponsor the Fairfax High School World Languages Summer Camp for rising 5th - 7th grade students. Future Lions can learn about French, Latin, German, and Spanish. Pizza lunch will be provided. Limited bus transportation available.
